商品概要
もともとは、博多で生まれ育った人の事を「博多っ子」と呼んでいましたが、最近はこれに限らず広義に使われているように思います。
博多どんたくや博多祇園山笠の盛り上がりでも分かる通り、芸事やお祭りが好きな人も多いかも。自分のことはそっちのけで人のために骨を折る事から「博多っこは馬鹿ものばっかり」と愛着を込めた言葉で表す事もあるそうです。
そんな博多に、昔から伝わる怪談があります。
ある夜、刀研ぎ屋店主の枕元に、博多弁を話す幽霊が現れたそう。驚いた店主は後日、店の刀研ぎ屋の名前を「御研ぎ師幽霊屋」と変更し宣伝したところ、博多の街の話題となってお店が繁盛したそうです。そして、この話を聞きつけた他の博多商人たちは、どこかで幽霊に遭遇できないかと、街中を探し回ったそうです。
そんなことから、博多には幽霊コンニャクや幽霊かまぼこなんて商品があったと言われています。
