商品紹介
The Kokonoe Mountain Range is a group of volcanoes that extends to the northern part of Oita Prefecture, and is counted as one of Japan's 100 most famous mountains, as well as Nakadake (1,791m), the highest peak on mainland Kyushu.
Two different notations are used: ``Kuju'' and ``Konoe,'' but in general, when referring to a group of volcanoes or the surrounding area, they are called ``Mt. Kokonoe'' and ``Konoe Mountains.'' When referring to Mt. Kusumi, it is used as "Kusumiyama." In recent years, to avoid confusion, it is often referred to as the hiragana ``kuju''.
Hokkein Onsen, located in the mountains, is one of the attractions that can only be reached on foot.
