日本中のコンビニやスーパーで見かける“あの豆菓子”。実は、鹿児島が誇る100年フードだとご存知でしたか？
正体は、大正2年創業の「大阪屋製菓」がつくる「雀の学校」。九州で生まれた「雀のたまご」という呼び名を、誰もが知る童謡にちなんでブランド化した、鹿児島県民なら誰もが知る「心の味」です。
カリッと香ばしい衣、秘伝の甘辛醤油、そして中のピーナッツ。一度食べたら止まらないこの味は、今や公式の鹿児島観光素材集の表紙を飾るほど、街を代表するアイコンになっています。
そのソウルフードをオマージュした刺繍キャップです。

Did you know that "those bean snacks" found in convenience stores across Japan are actually a century-old pride of Kagoshima?
These snacks are "Suzume no Gakko" (Sparrow's School), crafted by Osakaya Seika, a confectionery founded in 1913. While originally known across Kyushu as "Suzume no Tamago" (Sparrow's Eggs), they were rebranded under the name of a famous nursery rhyme, becoming a beloved "soul food" known to every Kagoshima local.
With their crunchy savory coating, secret sweet-and-salty soy glaze, and roasted peanut center, these addictive treats are so iconic they even grace the cover of the official 2025 Kagoshima Tourism Guide. This embroidered cap is a special tribute to that very soul food.
